I just got back from a two-day-one-night vacation in Laguna. Yep, you read right, I spent the night in a friend’s place unchaperoned. Well, perhaps we were chaperoned, by her parents. What I was trying to say was, my ‘rents actually gave me the permission to stay over in such a faraway place without my tita ging. It was my friend’s birthday; our parents got to know each other during enrollment, and bam! Suddenly I find myself packing for this milestone. I suppose starting college made me look more mature in my parents’ eyes. Which is only right, I suppose. I’m sixteen, for sobbing out loud. Under normal circumstances, I can very well take care of myself and I know my limits.
Anyway, enough ranting.
I had a wicked time in Laguna with Girlie, Nicole and Buen. The ‘villagers’ were celebrating their fiesta and crashed their parties. We spent so much time eating, laughing and more eating that we kind of forgot that we were in an unknown territory. They (village people) held a dance in the evening. Halos lahat sila magkakakilala don, kaya parang weird kung makikiepal kami sa circle of friends nila, di ba? Hindi naman kami taga-roon.
But then again, to hell with that. We can have fun without them. It took a little prodding, but I managed to convince my companions to let loose and dance. Walang pakialamanan. I did NOT go all the way from manila to be a wallflower. We danced the night away, grooving to the dance tunes of the retro ages. (I feel good!! tannannannannan!:)) We had the best time.
Probably, the only setback were Girlie's doggies. Medyo takot ako sa aso eh...hehehe... they have three of them. one was a german sheperd. i didn't know nor care what breed the other two was. All I cared about was that I stay a good distance away from them. They weren't bad dogs.. actually they're kind of cute. I'm just chicken.
Speaking of chicken... nagugutom na ko...
tama na siguro to..
til next entry..!
