Geez, how long was it since my last update?
Anyhew, summer vacation is now officially over. What can I say about summer of '05? Well, let's just say it could've been better. I haven't seen a single natural body of water, for chrissakes! But twas okay. I spent it vegging around the house and writing. Yeah, writing. You know, that SoR fic I started last year. I was able to complete 13 chapters but I'm currently stuck at chapter 14. I've no idea why, but it seems that I'm in a major writing rut.
The last few weeks of summer wasn't all bad though. Nic and I went to Saich's for four days and three nights like I originally planned at the beginning of the vacation. Vegging, pigging out and doing nothing is so much better with friends, I think.
I wasn't able to go with the barkada to La Union. I hope I do next time.
On the last Friday before school started, the girls of the barkada went on a night out. (Well, except for Nic who just got her period and was having major menstrual pains.) Went to The Basement again in Libis. Damn, I've missed dancing too much! We won't be able to do that again until semestral break I'm sure. Feh.
So school's now started. Talk about a major reality check. We have classes Monday til Wednesday and hospital duty on Thursday til Saturday. My RLE group is assigned in the Operating Room in UST Clinical Division, and on the first day of duty, we were already given OR Manuals to study. We have so much to study for! (I suppose that's one of the reasons for my writing rut.) We were also informed that we might have night shifts now. Woooow. I feel like a professional now. *snorts*
But the OR shift looks like fun, even though it's really tedious. I just hope I still get enough writing time to write What You Least Expect. I'm really excited to write the climax and denouement of the story, I just haven't gotten to it yet. Gaaaaahh.
And oh. That boy is sending so many whack signals again. Damn him.
Oh shit. I hafta go. I've class in a few hours.
